India Tailor President India Tailor is going into her senior year here at GVSU as a biology major with an emphasis on pre-veterinary medicine. This will be her third year as an active member of the pre-vet club, and second year on the E-board as former Vice President and now President. She has been involved with the Health Sciences Council as Relay for Life Chair. While India's primary focus is on the Pre-Vet club, she loves immersing herself in student life and plans to participate in many more clubs for the remainder of her academic career at Grand Valley. India spends most of her free time spoiling her rescue pup, Harley, and cat, Kitty. India's career interests include canine rehabilitation, conservation medicine, or emergency medicine.
Hannah Clark Vice President Hannah is a senior Biology major with an emphasis in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. This is her third year as a part of the Pre-Vet Club and her first year on E-Board. She is also involved in the GVSU Equestrian team and her sorority. She has a dog named Charlie and a cat named Hummer at home. Hannah is interested in working with small animals, horses, or exotics in the future.
Maggie Sabres Secretary Maggie Sabres is a junior at GVSU studying biology with an emphasis on pre-veterinary medicine. This will be her third year as a member of the Pre-Vet Club and her first year on E-board. Outside of Pre-Vet Club Maggie is also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. While Maggie doesn’t have any pets of her own that doesn’t stop her from spoiling and playing with everyone else’s. In her free time Maggie can be found with her friends (and their pets), exploring and listening to music. Maggie’s career interests include shelter medicine, emergency medicine and small animal medicine
Alexis Snyder Treasurer Alexis is a senior at GVSU with a major in Biology with a pre-vet emphasis. This is her 2nd year getting involved with the club and first year on the E-board. She spends a lot of her time with her pup named Moose and her friends outside of club. Her hobbies include playing sports, boating, and traveling. Also, she works at a local animal emergency hospital and volunteers at an equine therapeutic riding center. She is also a part of the organizing committee for West Michigan Regional APVMA Symposium. Alexis's career interests include, small and large animal medicine focusing of nutrition, oncology or pathology.
Brianna Banfield Event Coordinator Brianna is a senior majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She just applied to the 2020-2021 VMCAS cycle! She's interested in small and exotic animal medicine with a focus on rabbits. She has been vegan for 4 years and hopes to use her future career to spark meaningful conversation about animals rights.
Gabby Hammonds Fundraising Chair Hi I’m Gabby! I am a senior majoring in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Veterinary medicine. This is my 4th year involved with the club and my first year on E-board. I enjoy hiking with my rescue dog Hunter, volleyball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I work at a local animal emergency hospital. Also, I am an organizer for the West Michigan Regional APVMA Symposium. My career interest includes emergency medicine, large and small animal rehabilitation or pathology.
Allie Williams Webmaster Allie is a Sophomore at GVSU as a biology major with a pre-vet emphasis. She is interested in working with small animals or exotics and has always had a dream of becoming a marine mammal veterinarian, working in Rescue, Rehab, Release. Allie’s hobbies include, scuba diving, traveling, volleyball, and hanging out with friends (human and fur). She lives with her two golden retrievers, Sadie and Kona. Her family also breeds pure bred golden retrievers. This will be her second year involved in the pre-vet club and first year on the e-board.
